01 Is VALORANT crossplay?

Yes. VALORANT supports crossplay between PC and consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X|S). By default PC and console queues are separate; enable cross-play in Settings → Account to party with console friends. Ranked remains PC-only to keep the competition fair.

02 How do I uninstall VALORANT?

Open Windows Settings → Apps, search "VALORANT" and click Uninstall. Then search for Riot Vanguard and uninstall it separately — the anti-cheat runs as a kernel-level service and must be removed on its own.

03 Is VALORANT down right now?

Check status.riotgames.com for real-time server status, or follow @ValorantStatus on X (Twitter). In-game, "Unable to connect" or an infinite login loop usually means EU/NA/AP servers are experiencing an outage.

04 When can you play Waylay — the new agent?

Waylay is VALORANT's newest Initiator, arriving in Episode 10 Act III (expected mid-2026). She'll unlock immediately in unrated and spike rush; the standard 14-day ranked lock applies after release. Follow playvalorant.com for the exact date.

05 How big is VALORANT (install size)?

The base install is roughly 20–30 GB on PC. After patches and asset updates it can grow past 30 GB. Riot recommends keeping 40 GB free on your drive to handle seamless updates without errors.

06 When did VALORANT come out?

VALORANT launched globally on June 2, 2020 after a month-long closed beta. Console versions (PS5 and Xbox Series X|S) arrived on June 14, 2024, bringing the full PC feature set — ranked, Premier, and Night Market included.

07 How much have I spent on VALORANT?

Go to support.riotgames.com and search for the "Show me the money" lookup tool. Log in with your Riot account and it displays your lifetime VP purchases, bundle spending, and total amount spent since launch — including gifted points.

08 What is VALORANT?

VALORANT is a free-to-play 5v5 tactical FPS developed by Riot Games. Two teams of five agents — each with unique abilities — compete over 13-round halves to plant (Attackers) or defuse (Defenders) a device called the Spike. Precise gunplay is the core; abilities create openings, not free kills.

09 Is VALORANT on Xbox?

Yes. VALORANT is available free on Xbox Series X|S via the Xbox Store (released June 14, 2024). Xbox One is not supported due to hardware limitations. The console version includes all agents, maps, and cosmetics from the PC version.

10 Can you play VALORANT on Mac?

No native Mac client exists. Riot has no plans for a macOS version due to Vanguard anti-cheat compatibility issues. Workarounds (Boot Camp, Parallels, CrossOver) are not supported and may result in bans. Your best option is a Windows partition via Boot Camp on Intel Macs.
