Valorant developers will change the rating system in January 2021

Riot Games employees shared the details of the upcoming update in Valorant.

The developers of Valorant admitted that now the game is too strict on users in rating matchmaking: it is much easier to lose a title than to raise a new one. With Update 2.0, due out in January 2021, the developers plan to strengthen protection against downgrades, as well as overhaul a number of other aspects of the system.

In addition, the Valorant developers said that they do not plan to introduce a story mode yet, but do not exclude this in the future.
