Spectre is a low-cost submachine gun that occupies its owner's primary weapon slot, it features a silencer that reduces the range of the weapon's sound profile, compared to the Stinger, it is significantly more accurate, significantly less kicking, has a slightly greater ability to penetrate cover, and has a larger magazine capacity (30 vs. 20).However, its slightly lower per-shot damage and reduced rate of fire make its overall power statistically lower.
Weapons are a useful power purchase if your team is limited in money, and noticeably effective at close ranges, especially unarmored targets, their muted shot sound can also be useful for attacking enemies, as less attentive players may not pay attention to your shots However, as players acquire rifles with higher damage, they lose their effectiveness later in the game, where their role is better served by the Phantom assault rifle, which, like Specter, is suppressed and, in other words, can kill an enemy in one shot to the head (provided the target does not have enough armor points), and have a much greater effective range with better penetration ability.
