Unlike other assault rifles in the game, Vandal has the same damage at any distance.
The Vandal is a fully automatic rifle that costs 2900 credits. This is an analogue Phantom, and is unique for its high DPS at any range. He is incredibly deadly due to his ability to kill opponents with a single headshot at all ranges. As with other rifles, it is possible to aim (ADS) to reduce spread at the expense of rate of fire.
The fully automatic Vandal sacrifices higher spread and recoil for a linear damage range; no matter the distance, he will always kill with five shots to the legs, four to the body, and one shot to the head.
Due to its high price, Vandal is most often used in gun rounds (rounds in which both teams have money). A Vandal's ADS can be used to hold an object by reducing weapon recoil and spread, and can be combined with the extreme damage a Vandal can deal from a distance.
The "AR-762" Vandal designation suggests it is chambered in .30 caliber such as 7,62x39mm or the larger 7,62x51mm NATO, but is most likely a derivative of 7,62x39 . Note the significant curvature of the Vandal magazine, which matches the proven design in the vast majority of 7,62x39 magazines.
The Vandal design is based on several rifles based on the Kalashnikov platform. The overall design was influenced by the USA AK Alpha Kalashnikov assault rifle, taking into account the shape of the beveled edges of the magazine well and trigger, trigger guard, loading handle, forearm, gas block and flash hider. The pistol grip, dust cover and stock adapter are inspired by the IWI Galil ACE chambered in 7,62x39, the stock is a Magpul UBR stock, and the rear sight and front sight combined with the gas block are based on the AKS-74U. The muzzle brake is also very similar to the one on the standard AK-74.
