Riot Games has implemented Riot ID into their products, which is a name that is displayed in the game and is available for other users to view.
In simple words, the riot is idi - the player's nickname. This is not the same as the username that is set when you register for a Riot account and is used to log in.
Riot ID has two parts:
- name (nick) - Shown to players on the server;
- tag - Is a number number or letter designation consisting of a minimum of three, a maximum of five characters Players are not shown to others, but information is required to add to friends in Valorant. Can be viewed near the name, written after the hashtag sign #. Once created, the account is assigned automatically.
Change Riot ID possible no more than once every 30 days.
You also need to communicate with support when solving problems that have arisen.
Where to get Riot ID in Valorant
- You can find out your idi to Valorant through the main game menu. Open the communication menu on the right edge of the screen (if closed) and hover the mouse over your image with the nickname. The tooltip will contain complete information about idi. First, a nickname is displayed, and after the grille sign the tag is written. The data of any added person in the friends list looks the same.
- You can also find out Riot ID through the official website. Follow the link https://account.riotgames.com/, log in to account. Confirm accounting if necessary. Email with activation code to confirm. Enter code in the form on the site. By default, you should be in the settings section. Go to the RIOT ID menu, where you can immediately find the information you need.
ID is the same for all games from Riot (Valorant, Legends of Runeterra, Wild Rift and Project A)
